Would love to get several set up in my county. We have one library several towns away in the county seat. It is quite nice, and the have a good bookmobile program, but for folks in the more outlying areas it would be nice to be able to pick up or drop off a book near one of their nearby stores or elsewhere closer to home.LuAnn @ BackPorchervationshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01775630749079885915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1338397767372639585.post-76956884405827414102015-08-24T18:55:52.055-05:002015-08-24T18:55:52.055-05:00We have one on the way to church. As I live in the UK libraries are free to use, and I love my local library, so don't feel the need to try setting one up in my community. Despite that I always find it inspirational when people come up with projects like this, and it always improves my day hearing about them. Hope it all goes well.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15092117102877690831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1338397767372639585.post-25343777683358565682015-08-24T13:57:47.848-05:002015-08-24T13:57:47.848-05:00This is a great idea!!!! There are programs providing the little hutches. This is my heart--encouraging family literacy and literacy in general. God's Word can be read by a literate society . . . and in so doing, perhaps hearts are changed.
Joy!
KathyMiss Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10535864559101763980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1338397767372639585.post-81378108894193674152015-08-24T11:40:53.563-05:002015-08-24T11:40:53.563-05:00You have a great idea. We go around to them and put books in them and once in a while take a book. I wrote a blog post with photos of several of them a few months ago. We like to give away as many books as possible as we keep buying more.Terra https://www.blogger.com/profile/04396481049075747940noreply@blogger.com
