Taking Tea Together on Tuesday! 2/5/13

~ 1st Tea Cup  Tuesday for February ~

With Royal Albert telling us February is the month of Violets,

I thought I'd comply!
{Actually I do every day on this blog!}
I found this plate with a centre handle
{cake plate}
for my violet loving Aunt for her upcoming February Birthday
Oh HapPy Day !!
{Good thing she doesn't have internet!!}

    Your violet china is gorgeous! The plate is so beautiful and delicate looking, I am sure your aunt will be delighted! What a gorgeous matching tea cup too!
    Violets are such beautiful flowers. I have always loved them. As a little girl I anxiously searched our lawns for the first violets.

    As you said...same wavelength...or...great minds think alike? LOL! Glad the kettle's on...need a cuppa. Love your teacups. The hand painted one is especially nice! I'm sure your aunt will be pleased with hers! Nice to have tea with you and thanks for linking to Tuesday Cuppa Tea!

    All the Violet tea sets are gorgeous. I wonder why Royal Albert chose Violets for February, here we don't have them so early. But they look very sweet and I love the scent of true violets.

    If I had to pick a favourite, it would be the violet chintz. There are so many pretty patterns with violets and purple for February.
