I'm definitely intrigued with the multi generational story layering.

Loved the humorous anecdotes of Lebovitz's initial Paris experiences upon arriving from America. Discovered as I browsed library selections. Looking forward to more plus the recipes of course!
Among the Fair Magnolias, a beguiling collection of four novellas, including Tamera Alexander's anticipated conclusion to Susannah's story from To Win Her Favor. Releasing in 8 days - also available on audio here

The book I read took place in France too! :D! These look really interesting! I'm going to have to add at least a couple of them to my seemingly neverending to-read list...
Ooh, what a great post this is! I’m thinking of attending the Salon du Livre in Paris in March so my head is full of Paris thoughts. I even watched Midnight in Paris again this weekend!
I'd love to read Tides of Honour since I'm Canadian and your description appealed to me right away.
I spent a wonderful semester in Paris, so my heart has a soft spot for anything french, but especially books about France. I will make sure to add it to my reading list.
Ooh, Paris in July sounds wonderful! I was lucky enough to have just visited in late April--I could definitely go back again! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
Thank you for these suggestions I just received two books set in Paris from the library. One is Paris I love you but You're bring me down. I hope it does not change my view of Paris.
Another inspiring Paris in July post - you're on fire! Great selection of books and audios here, and thanks for the links too. The Paris Key looks beautiful - love the cover - shame its release is so far away. I've mentioned in my 'intentions for Paris in July, I've also got David Lebovitz on my list - he's so easy to read and describes things french in such a way as you can taste, smell and feel it all. I'm currently engrosed in Patti Millers Ransacking Paris.
Wow, you have some terrific books here. I'll add them to my list. I'm featuring a book on my weekly meme Dreaming of France. Here’s my Dreaming of France meme

I haven't read on that takes place in France lately. You do have an interesting collection to choose from.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection of books, all centered on Paris. I love the theme idea and your choices look intriguing.
ReplyDeleteVisiting from Mary's.

ReplyDeleteGreat selection of books. You have given me some ideas
ReplyDeleteI adore Susan Vreeland's writing, but somehow have missed Lisett's List. I promptly added the title to my TBR list!

ReplyDeleteI like your Parisian themed reading this week. Not sure I'll get to Lisett's List this month, but will try to remember it for next year.
ReplyDeleteSo many reading ideas, I am intrigued by the Paris key, just like the look of the cover.
