bearing beauty...

i've spent a VERY FULL day matching up
36 38 40
currently *41* teacup loving girls
for the Valentine TeaCup Trade!

in having read your responses to questions
i posed regarding your interest in teacups
and participating in the trade,
i learned a fair bit...

this activity was more inspired than i could have known.
there is a deep love of beauty within us.
an echo of the God Who is Beautiful.

"Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything that is beautiful,

for beauty is God’s handwriting–a wayside sacrament.
Welcome it in every fair face, in every fair sky, in every fair flower, and thank God for it as a cup of blessing." ~

Ralph Waldo Emerson

this small act of exchanging beauty is a wonderful
testament to this reality.
stories shared of beauty recognized,
appreciated, and valued,
in the cups,
as well as
the relationships attached to them.
heartfelt and humourous.
i've been honoured to hear them -
to share your joys and sorrows.
your anticipation
in both giving and receiving
these Valentine packages.
creativity about to be shared.
that too an echo of the Creator Whose image we bear...

THANK YOU for sharing
with me !
and now with each other...

That was just lovely. I had won a teacup from Gwenny's Place and I love it and think of her kindness when I have tea at night.

Hi, I'm Terri and isn't it nice to take time to enjoy something as simple as a teacup, but as we gaze upon the beautiful bone china with handpainted roses all edged in gold we can imagine the gifts given to the artist from Our Lord and that always makes me smile. Blesings Terri

There is something really special about recent favorite is actually a handthrown ceramic pottery mug called a "hand warming" mug because of how the handle is formed to wrap one's hand around the mug. I'm appreciating it this cold winter!

Happy Pink Saturday Sweetie...
Oh I am so disappointed that I have arrived to late to swap a teacup of love. How much fun this would have been. If you have any other newbies who would like to matched with someone would you let me know?

I am a follower, and I just don;t know how I missed this one.

What a wonderful idea. Momma and I have always said, "If we only had time for tea."

Many hugs sweetie and much love, Sherry

Hi Faith, Thanks for joining my online tea party. I think I missed the email for signing up. It's been a little hectic around my house lately. :o)
