IT'S MONDAY! WHAT ARE YOU READING? 9.6.14

Definitely a better week collecting books

though that wasn't bad either !

My first community garage sale of the season resulted in 18 books

what FuN to be shopping for his library!

-
couldn't take it on the roadtrip but it should be completed this week.

And 1/2 through a great new read - Spiritual Misfit - witty writing of debut author, Michelle DeRusha -
handling a formal subject with aplomb

How wonderful to pick up some books at a garage sale. Anne of Green Gables is such a great read. I loved her as a youngster - me not her! I loved the TV series too and have it on DVD. Have a great week of reading.

I love book sales as well! Managed to get my hands on a lovely hard cover of Jane Eyre as well (sadly without the dust jacket).

I like the cover of Spiritual Misfit, would love to know what you thought once you're done!

Here's my Monday post

Most weeks are like that for me. I doubt I'll live long enough to read all the books on my stacks. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I adore all the Anne books. I've lost count of how many times I've read them all. Enjoy your week!

Oh--my Jane book is a modern retelling of Jane Eyre.

I finally bought a book by Neil Gaiman because everyone tells me "You've got to read him!!!" and I thought I would give it a try. Haven't started yet though because I got sidetracked by an old worn copy of a Janette Oak book that I had -- and I used to love her stories when I was a young girl. So I wanted to read it to determine at what age I can pass to my daughter(s). It will be a few years yet as she's only 7 -- but I cannot wait to share it with her one day!
