Hard to believe another Monday has caught up with us!
My head isn't in this week's posting, I'll admit.
At some point these phone calls and emails will have to quit.
Today's was to let me know my brother was resting
comfortably following his heart attack!
So life kind of screeches to a halt and priorities rearrange
on their own ...
I completed the fantastic final of the Drew Farthering Mysteries series -
MURDER AT THE MIKADO -
by Julianna Deering

As good as the cover makes you think it will be!
{And now available with its July 1st release}

I've been totally into the PARIS IN JULY 2014 event ~
still time for Paris fans to join with Paris/French themed
book reviews, travel, photography, cooking,
walks down memory lane...
I'm enjoying all of them!
and sharing my own city's French Quarter for Tuesday Travels
plus Taste of Paris,
and books ~ as this one I reviewed.
*
Check in with Tamara at Thyme for Tea for
Monday's Menu [week 2]
listing the week's posts in advance if you'd like to join us!
*
I'm a little distracted, so think I'll sign off for now.
Hoping this summer reading week will be bright for you!

I still haven't read the second Deering book yet, and I see the third is out. Yikes- glad it was good! Best wishes to your brother and hopes for a complete recovery...
Prayers for a full recovery for your brother, and the Deering series sounds like I would like it. Tomorrow I post about books including a Rhys Bowen mystery I am reading.
Sorry to hear about your brother–will pray for his recovery! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
Sweet Macarons looks good. Prays for your brother.
Many prayers and good wishes for a quick recovery for your brother. Best wishes.
I haven't done any Paris in July posts yet...hopefully, my first will run Saturday.
Here's my It's Monday!
Hope your brother recovers speedily.
I'm so sorry about your brother. Yikes! Yes, life takes its twists. We'll pray for him.
I would like to read Murder at the Mikado by Deerling. I've read Death By The Book. It's so good. I like all your books. Have fun.
Just wanted to add my good wishes for your brother too. Indeed, I hope you soon have respite from the phone calls and emails, unless they are conveying good news--you deserve some!

Prayers sent, may your brother be doing well and have a full recovery. (())
I love murder at the mikado by Julianna Deering and so enjoying this series, great characters and a wonderful style of writing. This is an interesting plot of who really to trust. Fantastic ending!
