Michelle offers a lovely reading approach ~
" As with my previous read-a-thons, it will be a week of relaxed reading during which we can personally challenge ourselves and whittle away those ever looming TBR piles/shelves/libraries.
I hope you will join me! I will not be hosting any mini-challenges. However, if anyone else would like to host a mini-challenge or giveaway, you are more than welcome.
{Contact me using the contact form at her site}.
We will have a few scheduled Twitter chats. Dates/Times will be announced at the sign-in post.
Our twitter hashtag is
#WintersRespite "
A Winter's Respite Read-a-Thon

Soooo - I don't have to commit to certain books or reading time,
I just have to read and report on my reading - pretty much what we do every week
for It's Monday! What Are You Reading?  right?
And on that note...
What have I been reading this weekend ?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~*~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Brit author, Karen Aminadra's chick lit follies of
THE UNCANNY LIFE OF POLLY.
Read and reviewed for my participation in the
British Books Challenge, Around the World in 80 Books,
Alphabet Soup Challenge and Just for FuN.
 Review is posted to Goodreads [click title above]
Another read for Around the World in 80 Books,
Scots author, Alexander McCall Smith, spent much of his life
 in Africa absorbing life and outlook which he now shares in this
fascinating book of folktales.  GIRL WHO MARRIED A LION
MaryLu Tyndall's book 2 of ESCAPE TO PARADISE series
ELUSIVE HOPE  has enchanted me all this week.  Life in the
exotic jungles of Brazil, creating the new utopian home of
New Hope, in the midst of oppressive forces within and without
the camp.  Relational struggles for love and greed - surprise
appearances of human and otherworld apparitions - lots to keep
my attention to the end. Yes.  I did finish it.
Reviewing will be next ...
A fav Brit speaker, author and founder of Brilliant Book House,
Graham Cooke kept my attention with this audio of his book
by the same title.  4 cds of inspiriting material encouraging life
lived from a position of God's love and acceptance that doesn't
 require performance to receive that acceptance or love.
Excellent humour throughout [and lovely accent!]
Grae blogs at BRILLIANT PERSPECTIVES
