here's the conclusion to the search for Ruth, Joy's missing aunt ...
thank you for continued prayers for God's Peace and comfort of the family through this time of grieving and loss.. such evident goodness in guarding her from harm until she was found - God's amazing grace...
*My Dad just called and gave me the following information:
Ruth was found approx. 1/2 mile, through the bush, from her home.
She was found by a searcher who heard the dogs, walked toward the sound
and then the dogs were growling - protecting Ruth. If not for the dogs he would
not have found her.
The constable said you would have had to be standing almost directly over her
to see her. He said she looked as though she had just gotten too tired to walk and
had laid down. They think perhaps she may have gotten cold, fallen asleep and
just did not wake up. The coroner can not say for sure but estimates that
she passed away Thursday or Friday last week. Ruth had died even before
people knew she was missing.
I remember her saying that there was no way she would ever live anywhere
else but out on her ranch - so she died in the place she loved and she did
not suffer in any of the horrific ways we were fearful of. For this we are thankful.
Thank you all for standing with me through this time,
Much love,*
