today's award ...

just back from a visit with LV at *Thoughts from Meme's Corner*.  she had chatted on yesterday's post and included an invite to find a surprise at her post today.  and what a surprise!  LV has been awarded the *Versatile Blogger* award!  ConGrATs  LV!  i like your sharing of the definition too!  "You have the ability to change or fluctuate readily ... embrace a variety of subjects."  and at 81, i believe your life definitely speaks to your versatility!  still mowing  your lawn and yard work - WoW!  plus taking on blogging? ~ FanTaStic.  what an example you are to us 'younguns' :)  i honour and celebrate you today LV!  and pray for your blessing.  whether they come via many more awards or the Peace of Father's Presence ~ be blessed!

in addition to LV's announcement, she has posted a list of fellow bloggers to whom she'd like to award the Versatility badge, and guess who she included?  that would be me :)  i was entirely unsuspecting of her invite and entirely delighted ! but, there it was ~ FHC on her list!  so i am now officially 'Versatile' :)  how cool is that?  THANK you LV!  i'm honoured!  you've made my day with your kindness...
in response i'm to share 7 things about myself.  hmmm....
well, here's my go at that ~

1- i'm pioneer planting a new/fresh expression of Church
2- i LoVe creating and curating new ways of worship!
3- i Know i am the apple of my Father's eye :)
4- i think & live missionally
5- tea is me and i use china daily
6- sunshine is my call to go outdoors
7- i love photo capturing life

so that's some of  me ~
now i'm to pass this along as i understand.  i am going to do this part a bit differently.  if you have read this definition and say 'hey, that's me!' then please accept this Versatile award from me to you!  you know who you are.  it resonates with who you are and i celebrate you in that!  i will look forward to finding it on your sidebar.  that will be more accurate than me trying to choose a few from the many i encounter in my blog travels. be blessed and know your 'versatile' expressions of life are influencing others in so many beautiful ways!
    Cheers !

Hello - I love that you love tea and using china - there's something in the whole proper tea-making ritual. Maybe it's because it takes time and we need to slow down to do it which is always good.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog, your kind comment and the following! Best of luck in the giveaway. I love the name of your blog, it's so lovely in this part of cyberspace - will follow back! Larissa x

Wow, you are a tea lover! I like milk and sugar (the latter being my only vice in life - don't smoke, don't drink etc) and I like it milky but strong. People would call it 'builders' tea! The colour I would describe is probably a dark caramel. I'm having a lovely cuppa whilst I blog and all the kids are at school - bliss! Have a great day. :)
