another opportunity to reflect in gratitude ~
what are you thankful for today?
for some, it's the end of a day, so recounting will be yours,
for those just beginning your new day,
what are you hoping for?
beginning the Lenten journey is itself a reflection of gratitude...
a new opportunity for deepening spiritual thoughts ~
reflections that result in new perspectives and new ways of being.
reflections that result in new perspectives and new ways of being.
a slowing down
a taking time
pausing ~ selah
rather than obliviously rushing to the nxt thing!
living intentionally...
taking up that yoke that is easy
that burden that is light
the responding to Jesus invitation, 'come to ME'
'all who are weary and heavy laden'
labouring? striving? overburdened?
you have an invitation to rest...
Jesus in the Gospel according to Matthew 11.28-29
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened,
and I will cause you to rest.
[I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.]
Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me,
for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart,
and you will find rest relief and ease and refreshment and recreation
and blessed quiet) for your souls!"
sound good to you today?
me too!
enjoy your blessed rest ~
rest blessed!
