What's Up for this week's reading?

*
Bout of Books 12 Readathon beginning in just a couple hours.

January 5th through January 11th
offers an opp to focus on our reading and a get a headstart on those stacks
right at the beginning of the New Year.  It works for me!

Starting with A Lady Most Lovely.
Jennifer Delamere's 2nd in the
Love and Grace trilogy.
It will likely be my last Christmas Spirit
read for this year's Challenge at Michelle of
True Book Addict .

Socialite Margaret Vaughn is the wealthiest heiress in London—or so everybody thinks. Saddled with debt left by her father, she agrees to marry a rich man who can save her family's estate. But when her fiancĂ© turns out to be just another poor social climber, Margaret faces financial ruin—and social humiliation. Just when she thinks all is lost, she finds an unlikely angel in Tom Poole . . .

Hoping to get an Agatha Christie mystery completed.

This one is a collection of shorts set in various
world locations and varied genres for the stories
as well.
All published prior to the 1930's, so a unique
flavour to the settings, dialogue, and action.

I picked it up at a car boot sale in Scotland
which adds to my personal intrigue in
adding it to the readathon.

*
A lot more books and audios stacked plus kindle reads ready for when I am!
Trying to keep my reading without pressure and commitments
so my reading time will be relaxed and enjoyable . . .
6 days of readathon in some very freezing outdoor temps
have a way of keeping me reading and out of the cold...

The kettle is definitely on!
Stop in for a cuppa?

More readathons! Yeah!

Unfortunately for my current tally, there was a family emergency on New Year's Day, but I still finished one book and parts of two others.

Going to review my BoB sign-up post and see where to go at midnight. :O)

Nothing better than curling up under the covers with a good book. I think I'd like Christmas Every Morning, it sounds quite moving. Happy reading :)
