CELEBRATING PARIS IN JULY: INVITATION TO CREATIVITY 22.6.15

Summer's Here!
Time for one of the annual Celebrations ~
PARIS IN JULY
hosted by, Tamara, at Thyme for Tea
~

~
This button represents my luv of the "joie de vivre" spirit of this Annual Celebration!
~
~
Have you considered a Paris / France focus for this
upcoming month?
Signups are open at Thyme for Tea hosted by Tamara in Australia.
~
Tamara's guidelines include:

The aim of the month is to celebrate our French experiences through reading, watching, listening, observing, cooking and eating all things French!  There will be no rules or targets in terms of how much you need to do or complete in order to be a part of this experience – just blog about anything French or Paris,
or Paris-like
,
and you can join in!
Some ideas might include;
  • reading a French themed book – fiction or non-fiction,
  • watching a French movie,
  • listening to French music,
  • cooking French food,
  •  experiencing French, art, architecture and travel
~

"For whatever reason you love Paris in July,
join in - each week or just once -
we'd love to learn about what Paris in July means to you."
- Tamara

My Paris in July basket is bursting ~ here are some of  my intentions...

~

~
I've completed CITY OF DARKNESS AND LIGHT , a mystery by Rhys Bowen.
LISETTE'S LIST
is definitely intriguing me, and also reading the WWI novel,
TIDES OF HONOUR by Canadian author, Genevieve Graham.  Pictured here
the evening we met on her cross Canada Timeless Book Tour with Susannah Kearsley,
author of A DESPERATE FORTUNE.  Both novels Paris/France based.
~
 ~

~
There are cooking books as well as memoirs...
lovely book shops and lovely books!

My first PARIS IN JULY post - Canada Day TeaTime Celebration - posted July 1st!
Canada is officially bilingual English/French.

Then there are my fav French movies, music, travel ideas, patisseries,
and my city's own French Quarter to share during July!
~
I'm looking forward to discovering your French delights ... oui?
See you in Tamara's Signups!

No mistaking the identifying theme location for this July month long feature-
Definitely portrays the large and expansive nature of what Paris in July means to me
and with the iconic landmark of le Tour Eiffel

and...

It wouldn't be Paris in July without the #JoY of reading! at least for this gal

~

I look forward to finding you at the PARIS IN JULY celebration!

Bienvenue!

I love how quickly you jumped on this :-)
My favourite button is the one with the balloons.

I'm still working out which book/s to read, but I love the idea of making one of them a cookbook - great idea.

what a fun idea! I took French in college and loved it. It introduced me to great French films and music :)
