BOOKMARKS & BOOKS: IT'S MONDAY! WHAT ARE YOU READING? 11.4.16

Thanks to Kathryn at Book Date

for hosting the long running Monday Book meme
It's Monday! What Are You Reading?
~

~*~
I'm also adding bookmarks for this week's
BOOKMARK MONDAY post
hosted by Guiltless Reader
~
Because who would admit to having more than needed ?I know.  It wouldn't be me!

I found this bookmark designed for the National Poetry Month April 2016.  Enlarge, save, and print if you'd like one.

Are you reading any poetry books this April?
My week's reading completions:
Irish author, Carlene O'Connor's debut - I listened to the
hoopla audiobook -  great twists and options,
the ending was a surprise.
~
First Vanetta Chapman for me and the first in series
showed her capability in the genre. Murder in the Amish village
coffee shop, a surprising cast of characters,
and some Amish life insights added to an interesting listen via hoopla download.
~*~
 Two more dramatisations of
Agatha's investigators - one Poirot
using the children's rhyme -
This Little Pig went to market etc.
And the 3rd Miss Marple, revealing her skills of observance and deduction applied in the investigation.  An early days introduction to Marple's talents and personality.  Re-reading.

~*~
This audio brought me to my 100th of the year to date.

~
Definitely an audio listen challenging the listener to reconsider accepting status quo life
in favour of a life of adventure.  To recognize one's talents and abilities to Be You.
Then to pursue making best decisions in actively using those gifts to Do Good.  Very life-giving.
Debut book by priest, entrepreneur, founder of Land of a Thousand Hills Coffee,
Jonathan David Golden.
Glad I chose to listen.
~

Now Reading?

In a brief pause while I wind up a 6 week class I've been instructing
and prepare for an interview regarding a grant application.
I may update current reading once I pick another book to read or listen.
~
Remains unfinished until there's more reading time.

TBR?
In my book bag waiting for time ...

Have a wonderful week. I posted with book beginnings today, which I meant to post next Friday. Oh well, hope no one is confused because the date on my post today the 10th says next Friday the 15th, when taxes are due.

Really pretty bookmark design - you can never have too many bookmarks!

Reading more Agatha Christie is something I'd really like to focus on, and with the vast amount of books published by her, it's not a light undertaking. I'm thinking of putting a little more focus on that particular goal next year, after I get my unread books down a bit.

Happy Reading!

Oh! I wish I had more time for leisure reads! The Irish cozy mystery looks good. I have a house full of them--cozy mysteries--for "someday . . ."

It's been awhile since I've read any Agatha Christie novel - thank you for reminding me that I have to get back to some of her novels languishing in my shelves.

Murder in an Irish village is an enjoyable comfort read. It was like the book version of a hot cup of good tea.
