*post your favorite Vintage Charming photos and maybe tell us about what inspires you most to create or decorate in Vintage style. Is it a specific childhood memory, a relative, their home or clothing, jewelry!! I do hope to see a lot of beautiful images!!!! Who knows... I may want to feature you in a future issue of Creating Vintage Charm!!!! On the day of the party we will all meet here and spend the weekend blog hopping and get a peak inside everyone's Vintage Charm inspirations!!*
well this sounded like too much fun , so i've joined the party ! i think, for me, it's just the romantic i am that loves creative expression. i love beauty. love to surround myself with beauty. live with beauty. and finding them as treasures discarded by others allows me to rethink, reclaim and repurpose as my inspiring friend Shannon Hopkins says and does with her Sweet Notions.
it's a conscious choice to enjoy beauty without giving in to the consumerism of our culture ...
thanx for the invite and the party! EnJoy my PINK vintage teacups! courtesy of Paula of Paula's Palace ! please join us at the cafe table ~ click 'follow' then 'have a cup on me' for your own blog sidebar ! hoping you enjoy the conversation, warm hospitality and come back soon for more Faith Hope & Cherrytea! Thanks for stopping in ...
my nana was the first to instill a love of fine china when she gave me an 'old country roses' teacup while i was yet a child. my mother received many more pieces, adding to her set. my bliss through the years was to create the china cabinet vignettes of these treasures. now mom's residing in a pch, offering me the blessed honour of enjoying the memories while gracing my table with this lovely family favourite... i hope you will enjoy the richness of this beauty with me!
