new release "Fairer Than Morning" ~

this week i have had the absolute pleasure
of reading debut author, Rosslyn Elliott's,
Fairer Than Morning

beside a cover that warms my heart
the story within that cover
is a heart stealer!

real characters with struggles, flaws, and failures
that are deftly drawn ~
that draw us into personally connecting~
and a storyline that kept me running back to read a few more pages
before lunch or laundry needed next steps!

spanning our 1800's heroine's journey from marriage proposal at sixteen,
emerging from Ohio farm life to Pittsburg's urban culture,
all is not what it's surface seems...
life has it's way of disturbing our cocoons~

discovering hope and courage in the midst of heartbreak & adversity,
Rosslyn artfully deals with weighty issues of the day
from a well researched perspective
challenging the reader into understanding and care
for the characters she has created~
i couldn't put it away!

as a special treat, here are Fairer Than Morning's first 2 chapters !!
