A.MA.ZING Advent Announcement !

How do I write a post to adequately share my most
exciting news of this YEAR ?

My eldest Son and DIL just called to say
they're becoming first time parents!!

and

I am going to become a NANA!!

and, yes, I do realize that sounds like I'm shouting !

I am overjoyed, in awe, a.ma.zed, shocked, delighted,
Grateful to God !

Talk about Advent Anticipation !
WoW !!

Thanks for listening and sharing our JOY !!

and now,

back to our regularly scheduled presentation...

It's Monday! What are you Reading?

For me,
it's an entirely apropos book for this amazing life event ~

The most inspired telling of the Christmas story I've yet to read...

The Winter Seeking
by Vinita Hampton Wright

One Mary is young, pregnant, and living out the greatest assignment
ever given to a woman of faith.

Another Mary is single,
torn between her divorced parents, worried about her mother’s battle with cancer,
and trying to work it all out in her journal.
Though their lives are separated by years and distance,
one simple exercise of imagination joins their stories and destinies.
Almost a time travel,
it's a most fresh visitation of the Christmas story,
this novella is a perfect read for a long winter evening...

The Winter Seeking

I've enjoyed every minute of it [tissues at hand!]

Have a great week of Anticipation on your Advent
reading journey...
