Today's Teacup Treat ?
Another unexpected charity shop find
that really needed a change of homes! ...
Royal Albert's Vintage "Needle Point" pattern
This pattern was introduced in 1927 but it is not clear when it was discontinued.
TY Katie! via
Royal Albert's NeedlePoint "Crown China"
is the tip off to being circa 1927
as well as the pattern #Reg. NÂș 829286
not the later number with just the Royal Albert name.
Found that interesting and helpful as I've hunted for the matching
dessert plate ...

What a beautiful, beautiful teacup! I hope you find the plate to complete your trio! Trust!!!
You just never know what you will find at the thrift shop! You have found a beauty. I don't see the needlepoint pattern cups often.
Lucky you!
Thanks so much for sharing,
Hugs,
Terri
Your RA Needle Point teacup really is a treasure. I have never seen this pattern before. Have fun in the thrift shop and enjoy the Conference. Thank you for coming to tea.

How lovely! Love the needlepoint rose design on this cup!
I have never seen that cup and saucer which is really unique! It sure does look like needlepoint! Just lovely!
Oh, how charming! The pink and green look very pretty and the shape of the cup is delightful! Happy tea time :)
I have loved that pattern for a long time. It is so pretty up close like that. I am glad it went to a good home! :)
I think it would be fun to have it with Petit Point too. I have some of those plates and cups and saucers...

A beautiful tea cup - a pattern I have not seen before. Love the shape of the cup.
Been around and seen a lot of tea cups, but never one like this. A real treasure. I have a lot needlepoint, but not a cup. How interesting.
So charming! Love the pairing of the needlepoint china with the delicate lace.

The colors and shape make this an extra lovely cup...love it.:)
Wow! Love the pattern- so unusual and pretty. Too bad it's discontinued. Autumn greetings from Australia♥ ~Pernilla
Beautiful! It's amazing how much it looks like real needlepoint. Hope you find a thrift shop and score some great treasures! Thanks for sharing with Share Your Cup.
