DOWNTOWN WINTER'S DAWN: WORDLESS WEDNESDAY PHOTO PLAY 26.2.14

waking to a -33C dawn on a wintry downtown morning . . .

*

"He spreads snow like a white fleece,
    he scatters frost like ashes,
He broadcasts hail like birdseed—
    who can survive his winter?
Then he gives the command and it all melts;
    he breathes on winter—suddenly it’s spring!

I woke up to a -30C morn. Even though it's bright and sunny, I do wish spring will come early. It's been too long a winter.

It looks cold there but the muted colors are beautiful.

That would have been a very cold morning for a walk, definitely warm woolies weather. To see a sky that beautiful is reason enough to rise early.

Thank you for sharing your city view at Sunlit Sunday this week.

The cold and freezing is increasing around and about. Struggling. And all we can count on to keep us from being destroyed is the blessing and the knowledge and the caring of the Lord. He is IT! [Your photo and Word, BTW, is great!!]

Those clouds are gorgeous. The verse applies to our weather. Yesterday, He covered everything with ice. Today, it has all melted.
