IT'S MONDAY! WHAT ARE YOU READING? 12.5.14

Ahh, yes, reading...
as I shared Sunday morning,

I'm reading in the care home as I keep vigil

with my cousin on his end of life here journey.

What a gift to be able to read -

the comfort of having a book and ereader

to keep company during these hours!

So far,

Katie's beautiful gift book arrived perfectly timed

to tuck into my bag on the way to the care home.

A contemporary that captivated me with its

unique storyline

of the inner world of beauty - fashion, photography,

and modelling - as one woman comes to realize her

true value is more than just her looks .

Today-

Book 2 follow-up of this London Regency series

that captured me with a suspenseful spy intrigue.

This one refers much to book 1,

yet develops along a more relational interest

of love lost, grieving, and the consequences

of an "I'll show him" attitude...

*

I also completed

earlier in the week.

Un.be.lievably intense WWII drama

based on true life stories.  I'm up for 1st day

of the Litfuse book tour.  I will have to pre-empt that

if my cousin passes away, but there is an entire

blog lineup featuring Liz Tolsma's evocative

story telling.

I am not familiar with any of the books but covers look enticing. Enjoy the Bout 0' Books.
