How are you with audios?  Old familiar or New to you?
A venture you want to take?  or Already well down the road?

Which, of course, brings road trips to mind.
Something else I love to do in Summer!
Especially with an audiobook in play.
~
Sooooo....
I've got my stack of Agatha Christie,
both Miss Marple and Hercule Poirot,
another stack of Sherlock Holmes at the ready,
plus some author variety options I've collected which I may or may not get to.
~
I have spent a good time online at the library choosing new options
and placing holds for my favs for this month's audiobook choices.
Those favs include 2 British authors' works :
Death of a Chimney Sweep an MC Beaton mystery
~
~
The Winter Garden Mystery by Carola Dunn
~
~
June 7-8 completed with Review
~
After the War is Over by Canadian author Jennifer Robson
~

~
and one I've just found available - Jessica Dotta's final of her trilogy -
The Price of Privilege by Oasis audio via hoopla
with perfection of a narrator in Amanda McKnight -
the most authentic British accents
that bring Jessica's stories to life!
Definitely anticipation...
~

~
That's it for starters!  Can.Not.Wait.
Yay June AUDIOBOOK Month!

What's up for your 'listening' this JUNE ?

I've read aloud to my children since birth. I also require an hour a day of reading from each of them. They are all avid readers.

Blessings,
Laura

I listen to audio books and audible all the time, since I have a 70 mile round trip commute to work...it's the only part of teh commute I enjoy.

I only really use audio books on long car journeys as I find the pace of reading to slow for me - my sister being blind is an avid listener, she finds though that the narrator is the most important - is she can't get on with the voice she cannot read the book - a problem books themselves don't give us.

My mother had them all the time when she was bed bound and had lost her sight, all her old favourites, a few new ones. I have a collection for journeys and my older age when I can no longer see the page well enough even for an e-book:)

Enjoy the books:)
