With Royal Albert telling us February is the month of Violets,

I thought I'd comply!

{cake plate}
for my violet loving Aunt for her upcoming February Birthday
Oh HapPy Day !!
{Good thing she doesn't have internet!!}

Not easy to resist this one!
or this...

How about this violet chintz?

Ahhh well.  Whether we have violets for February or no,
we all have the  pleasure of
Taking Tea Together on Tuesday !
Hoping your kettle's on ...

teacup tuesday...

this past weekend, i had some fun
freshening up faith hope & cherrytea...
freedom of creative expression with just a few key clicks!
luv it!
in keeping with the new design,
today's teacup

is my absolute favourite!
and
the source of FHC's new blog look~

it's actually a lunch set~
luncheon plate with cup ring
holding the matching teacup.
one of several
i have picked up at church rummage sales
or charity shops,
each with its own colouring
from deep purples to lighter bluish shades.
japan is their source, marked 'hand painted'.
sorry, i don't have a camera at hand to add those photos.

having an overly full plate of activities
i've been balancing as best i can,
but hearing the same concerns from other bloggers.
in response,
i'd like to share the following.

"let the peace -
soul harmony which comes from the Christ
rule - act as umpire continually in your hearts -
deciding and settling with finality
all questions that arise in your minds -
in that peaceful state to which
as members of Christ's one body you were also called to live.
And be thankful -
appreciative, giving praise to God always...
and
whatever you do
- no matter what it is -
in word or deed,
do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus
and in dependence upon His Person,
giving praise to God the Father through Him."

Colossians 3.15,17 amplified

may you be inspired and inspirited
in all your being
and in all your doing this day.

Peace be with you...
