Scraps to Treasures Weekend Blog Hop 6/16-6/17

Welcome to a Weekend of
"Scraps to Treasures"
Blog Hop !

The hop begins at Robin's blog "Scrap and Chat"
on Saturday through Sunday
for 2 days of Creative Projects
Be sure to visit Robin to get in on the full scrapping lineup
of Creative Bloggers sharing PLUS Giveaways ! . .

THis is my 1st EVER scrapping project
plus entry in a hop featuring scrapped projects!
so I'm a little excited {to say the least!}

I've busily been putting final touches to my projects
that were to challenge our creativity using 'scraps'!

The project I intended took an entirely new direction
and I'm not at all disappointed ~
That's all part of the FuN of Creating!

I began with the unused, pre-owned charity shop gift bag
in this post's opening photo ~

I then layered co-ordinating cardstock to the front of the bag ~
{a fabulous book for any readers} !
and
the lime on white patterned is from Cely's Hawaii Paper Party
{Warm Thank you to each of you}!

a tiny white doily addition for my next step ~

became a background for ~

a couple embellishments
{again from Darien}
and we've a 'New Look' Gift Bag !

Huge & Heartfelt Thank You's
to Jessi for inviting me to this Scrapping Group !
and to my friend, Lil,
for willingly popping over at 10 pm to shoot these photos
virtually making this post possible!
{+ tomorrow's!!}
Bless you! You're nothing but the BEST !

As part of our Hop,

Shannon Leffew Keith is generously donating a
Gorgeous item from her Etsy shop ~
and at Ginger Snap Scraps , Cori is donating
a $10 gift certificate to their store.
Rules of Entry include commenting at every participating Post
for each of the 2 day Hop
{posted at our Blog Hop's Hostess site as listed above} ~

Hopefully you arrived here at Faith Hope & Cherrytea from
the Brilliant

Now you're off to see the Lovely

Thanks for your company today!
Thanks also for your follows if you link up via Networked Blogs
{via Facebook}
you'll find the widget on the right sidebar ~

Have a Great Weekend of Hopping
and we'll see you back here tomorrow {Sunday}
for a Final 'Scraps to Treasures' project !

Thank you, Robin, for your excellent 'Project Management'!
for this Scraps to Treasures Hop ~

I love your colors of the scraps, so lovely spring and clean! Love how you decorated the bag, I need to try that one of these days. I just use plain ones and it would be fun to add some custom carly to the baggy!

great way to re-do that gift bag! I've never thought to do that and it would be handy when I need a birthday bag to be able to re-purpose a Christmas one! Or a feminine bag and make it a masculine one. Great idea!
