Definitely Monday
and
definitely reading!
I've about 75% completed this fave Jane Austen book
{available for free download online}
Telling a story of hope ~
A classic set in the midst of regency England,
a tale of the everyday life of Anne Elliot,
a privileged member of the upper class who was persuaded
to refuse a sailor's sincere love because her advisor believed
Frederick Wentworth was without ability to provide the future she desired.
When the conquering hero returns as Captain,
having made his fortune,
Anne is faced with the persuasion of her heart's remembrance
and her future's dreams...

A very inclusive challenge that has me catching up
on as many Austen books, sequels and variations
as I will find time to read!
Grateful for every sunny summer minute
I find myself immersed in a book !

Somehow, I have never managed to read this! Must put it on my list for someday...
I loved Persuasion. I need to revisit it and all other Austen books.
Rebecca @ The Key to the Gate
One of my absolute favorites! Plus, I love how the movie adaptation (Ciaran Hinds version) is so faithful. Had to good fortune to go on a JA walking tour in Bath shortly after I saw the movie--an absolute thrill.
I loved Sense and Sensibility more than I thought I would. P&P and Persuasion were my favorite in High School. :)
I don't think there is anything better in this world than reading an Austen book :) Enjoy!!
