That is a beautiful quote! As it happens, I just read it along with a friend in our little book group. It is from Henri Nouwen's book, "Discernment: Reading the Signs of Daily Life," on p.26. It's a wonderful, compassionate book, as I know you can imagine, since you have shown me others of his books! I'm currently reading his "With Open Hands," which you recommended. With gratitude, lucy
