Hi Sharon, thanks for the lovely visit for Pink Saturday and #UBP14 :)
In past years, I've done blog series on Lent as I worked on projects with my grandkids. This year, the grandkids are getting older and we are doing fewer projects. Instead, when I am watching them, I've been playing the Lent/Easter story to them from their audio Bible that they always listen to at nap time. Once they finish it in one book we'll listen to it in another book.
I was delighted, though, when I mentioned they had probably outgrown their Easter Resurrection eggs that we have always loved to find they STILL love them and want to do them. I found them in the storage box and they are sitting by the front door waiting for my next visit with them. :)
What a joy, though, to know that seasons may come and go, and grandkids interests may ebb and flow, but God and His love are unchanging always :)
Have a blessed and beautiful week.
Thank you, Kaye. What lovely truths you've shared! Both the joys of the grandchildren and the opportunities of planting seeds knowing God is the One Who makes the seeds grow...
You have NO IDEA how much I needed to see that quote from Ezekiel today.
And now I'm seeing all those FINISHED reading challenges in your side bar. I'm pea-green with envy! (Nah, just really, really impressed!)
Love the song from Rita Springer. Thank you for sharing.
«Louis'» Lenten Devotion for Monday is HERE and he invites you to Link your post.
Very inspirational both lyrically & musically. A perfectly honest and peaceful experience. I love the earthy quality of her voice, the real human experience and emotion reflected in the lyrics, and the artful musical arrangements.
