TOP TEN TUESDAY: BOOKS I'D LOVE TO SEE AS MOVIES 2.6.15

June 2: Top Ten Books I'd Love To See As
Movies/Tv Shows

Tuesday prompt hosted at The Broke and The Bookish
~
A few coming to mind.  Let's see how close I get to 10!

I'd love to see Stacy Henrie's 'Of Love and War' series dramatised for a TV series.
The characters, relationships and WWI settings and actions were great reading I'm sure
would make for
some seriously great viewing.
~
~

Lisa T Bergren's medieval time travel 'River of Time' series
would be epic.  Reading it was edge of your seat.
~
~

Jessica Dotta's gothic 'Price of Privilege' series is all dark suspense, mind bending,
 and high adventure
I'd love to see filmed.
~
~

One intensely intriguing Regency mystery by Laurie Alice Eakes,
pirates, ship wrecks, cliff caves, and missing people - arrgh mateys!
~
~

Set in Brazil, 'Escape to Paradise' captivated with descriptive exotic settings,
wild jungle adventures and some creepy people...
from MaryLu Tyndall
~
~

And my list wouldn't be complete without Julianna Deering's
swoonworthy hero, Drew Farthering, in his vintage mystery series
[book 4 Dressed For Death due April 2016 !]
~

~
ANY of Sibella Giorello's Raleigh Harmon suspense!

~
I'm over the 10 book list, but at 5 series + 2 single titles I'm not really done, right?
Seriously, I can think of so many fantastic novels to cinema
I'd love to have the opportunity to view.
Any of Tamera Alexander's historic series,
Jacqueline Winspear's ongoing 'Maisie Dobbs', Susan Elia MacNeal's 'Maggie Hope' series,
Michael K Reynolds' 'Heirs of Ireland', Murray Pura's 'Danforths of Lancashire',
Victoria Connelly's 'Molly's Millions', Julie Klassen's 'Girl in the Gatehouse' for one,
James Rubart's 'Rooms' + trilogy, Sigmund Brouwer's 'Merlin's Immortals' etc etc...

Great Top Ten topic!

Hoping you'll find something that intrigues maybe enough to pursue reading the stories.
I know I'd be impressed to see these filmed!  Whose got the Popcorn?
Looking forward to seeing your Top Ten choices ~

What a fun Top 10! Thanks for including Of Love and War on your list. I think Five Days in Sky by Carla Laureano would make a great movie, too, especially with the setting!

You're most welcome, Stacy, and another great movie recommendation! Now we just need a movie board of the actors you'd want to play Of Love and War characters...;)

Medieval time trave, and the Eakes book- the pirates and shipwrecks caught my eye. Plus Cornwall- that sound like a bonus too! And I read the first Deering book it appears I've fallen behind. :) I think those ould be good too.

Lovely visual presentations of these! Several of your mentioned series look appealing. I am reading Maisie Dobbs now, for the first time, and it would make a perfect tv series. I'm thinking about casting her. Any ideas?

I'd love to see Dave Eggers'"The Circle" made into a move. Life inside a technology mega-company.

I go for Stacy Henrie's 'Of Love and War' series. It's surely a great movie for love, drama and war movie fanatics.
