Pink Saturday Party! Feb 2.13

Waiting for another Pink Celebration of Saturday?
Well, wait no longer...
The fun has begun and we are ready to party with you!

Ready to offer our tiny bouquet of flowers to fill your room
with some sunshine we hope will fill
{or at least add to!}
your heart with JoY!

This past week we celebrated Jane Austen’s 200th anniversary
of her initial publication of that wonder,
Pride and Prejudice..

Two lovely participants at FHC won an Elegant Pink bookmark
{custom created for them similar to those shown}
for adorning their Jane Austen reading

In honour of this celebration I thought you might join us
in lifting a Pretty Pink cuppa
toasting the inimitable Jane and our two winners!
Cheers!  To writing and to reading!

And sampling a few Pink goodies for the occasion?

Many thanks to our Surprise guest
The dearly loved ....

Mr. Darcy!

Welcome to each of you and Warm appreciation for Celebrating with us
here at Faith Hope & Cherrytea !

Many more Pinks to be found at FHC on Pinterest
{plus much more of interest!}
You’re welcome and invited to follow the FuN there too!

Oh! How much I miss now that my blogging has had to be relegated to a mere luxury rather than a daily activity! P&P everything in Blogland and I've had to watch from a distance - no time, alas! Thanks for checking in with my second Pink Saturday of the year - YA! I just can't keep up the weekly thing and catch as catch can, I'm afraid. Now - about this Scottish Reading thing . . . what ARE you talking about. I actually have - on my nightstand - a book by Liz Curtis Higgs that she wrote as a travel journal of ten days in the Highlands. Haven't gotten even a quarter into it - though wish I could - more luxury pleasure reading. However, my curiosity is peaked so so email me the details: misskathypwp@gmail.com.
Joy!

Your book marks are lovely! I am reeling, loving all this pink! My middle daughter is getting her degree in Literature this May 2013 and Jane Austen is one of her favorites! Having attended Catholic school my entire life I only read the classics so I love English literature! Sigh! Such an uplifting sweet post and congrats to those lucky ladies!

Love the teapot cookies! They are precious. There was so much I was thinking Oooh! and ahh!
Is that a charm on the spoon in the tea? That caught my eye on Beverly's link.
I have never read any of Austen's books. I mentioned that somewhere last week and that maybe I should think about doing that one day?
Happy Pink Saturday - enjoyed my visit! Jenn
