Apologies for not having a Songs on Sundays post...
Today, for the second day, I'm spending my time sitting with my cousin making
his final life's journey to his heavenly home -
we never know how long this stage will last,
I'm asking your prayers for strength
in all that's to come for arrangements, services, etc.
Thanks, as always, for being a strength and comfort
in presence and prayers... 
And in praise for the God Who loves, cares, and carries us home.
"I have borne you from birth,
carried you since the womb.
 Till your old age I will be the same —
I will carry you until your hair is white.
I have made you, and I will bear you;
yes, I will carry and save you.
 To whom will you liken me and equate me?
With whom will you compare me,
as if we were similar?"

And that’s a good thing.

Join me in praying for wonder today - praying that God will transform us. Praying that we will experience and find God in all we do, everyday!

Though your schedule may be full, consider what you can do today to imbibe rest
as one of God’s greatest gifts.
Perhaps you can sneak in a catnap. Or allow your eyes to rest during the midafternoon.
Or climb into bed an hour early.
Look for a few minutes when you can just rest—
allowing your mind and body and emotions to recalibrate.

Share with others what you experience through rest.

For me?  

Rest allows restoration.  Body, mind, spirit.
Renewal. Refreshment.
Balance and equanimity.
Living with the sound mind God offers rather than stress/worry.
Rest provides margin.  Room for Peace to increase.

Awareness of God's Presence.

And when God is present, all that God is, is present...

Love, Joy, because we know that it's in God's Presence there is 

fullness of joy!

Everything we need is Present.  God is I AM.

I AM = whatever you need. And God knows exactly what we need!

We just need to give time in God's Presence to receive.

To hear God's heart speaking Life into our heart.

HIGHLY recommended, I give 'Rest' a 5* rating!

one thousand gifts...

i was delited to win the book of my choice

courtesy of a book blog this past week ~

i had no idea prices could fluctuate that rapidly!

from the time of choosing to hearing back from the blog admin,

the price had gone up by over 4 dollars!

i didn't know whether to make another selection 

or wait til weekend passed {hoping for a decrease!}

which is precisely what happened ! yay!!

it went back down

but in the meantime,
